DESCRIPTION
You will learn how to construct and tell a compelling brand story that elevates Sweet Escapery across all platforms and resonates with our ideal client.
The ideal candidate lives on social media, keeps up with ever-changing algorithms and trends and has a deep understanding of how to connect with Gen-Z and Millennials.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will assist with:

Performing market research to identify who our core audience is and what they’re looking for in a nail salon

Content creation and innovative ideas about how to reach our audience on social media

Social media management, such as schedule posts and engaging with followers

Writing emails for our email marketing list that provide value to subscribers

Pitching Sweet Escapery to media outlets and other media outreach, as well as keeping the media list updated

Coordinating interviews and public speaking engagements for the owner to gain more publicity for the brand
SCHEDULE
Wednesday: 10 am to 4 pm (remote)
Thursday: 10 am to 4 pm (remote)
Friday: 10 am to 2 pm (on-site)
QUALIFICATIONS

Currently enrolled as a sophomore, junior or senior at a four-year accredited institution that will offer college credit for an internship

Be enthusiastic about content creation and social media

Have some familiarity with the Gen-Z and Millennial generations as it pertains to how they do self-care
-
Some experience in marketing, public relations and/or managing social media is a plus
PAY
The internship will not be paid.
