Unpaid Integrated Marketing Internship at Sweet Escapery

DESCRIPTION

You will learn how to construct and tell a compelling brand story that elevates Sweet Escapery across all platforms and resonates with our ideal client.

The ideal candidate lives on social media, keeps up with ever-changing algorithms and trends and has a deep understanding of how to connect with Gen-Z and Millennials.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will assist with:

  • Performing market research to identify who our core audience is and what they’re looking for in a nail salon

  • Content creation and innovative ideas about how to reach our audience on social media

  • Social media management, such as schedule posts and engaging with followers

  • Writing emails for our email marketing list that provide value to subscribers

  • Pitching Sweet Escapery to media outlets and other media outreach, as well as keeping the media list updated

  • Coordinating interviews and public speaking engagements for the owner to gain more publicity for the brand

SCHEDULE

Wednesday: 10 am to 4 pm (remote)

Thursday: 10 am to 4 pm (remote)

Friday: 10 am to 2 pm (on-site)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently enrolled as a sophomore, junior or senior at a four-year accredited institution that will offer college credit for an internship

  • Be enthusiastic about content creation and social media

  • Have some familiarity with the Gen-Z and Millennial generations as it pertains to how they do self-care

  • Some experience in marketing, public relations and/or managing social media is a plus

PAY

The internship will not be paid.
